FPGEC Certification
Timeline for Pharmacists
The following timeline
gives you a brief overview of the FPGEC certification
process:
1.Obtain an application
for the FPGEE at www.nabp.org.
2. Obtain an application
for the TOEFL and TSE at www.toefl.org.
3. Take the three tests
within two years of eachother.
4. Request that an authentic
report of your TOEFL and TSE scores be sent to the FPGEC.
From there, you can be
licensed in a particular state through an additional test
offered by the NABP. Please see our article here
for more information.
Once I’ve received my FPGEC certification,
how do I become licensed to practice pharmacy in a particular
state?
Although requirements vary between states,
most pharmacists must:
Graduate from an accredited college
of pharmacy,
participate in residency or internship programs to acquire
direct patient care experience AND
pass the NABPLEX (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy
Licensing Exam). See www.nabp.org
for more details.
